Alison Stine, Erin Brooks Worley, Anne Clifford, & Elizabeth Treadwell
Alison Stine is the author of a chapbook of poems, Lot of My Sister (Kent State University Press), and is a first-year Wallace Stegner fellow at Stanford University. Her poems have appeared in Poetry, The Paris Review, The Kenyon Review, The Antioch Review, Gulf Coast, Swink, and others, and have twice been nominated for a Pushcart Prize
Anne Clifford's short stories have appeared in Hayden's Ferry Review, Get Off My Wagon, and Waterfall, and have been performed by a Los Angeles theater company. In 2004, she won an AWP first prize for fiction and received her MFA from the University of San Francisco. She lives in Albany, California, where she works as a grant writer for non-profit organizations.
Elizabeth Treadwell's books include the poetry collections Chantry (Chax Press) and LILYFOIL + 3 (O Books), both 2004. Her work in this issue is from a new manuscript titled Wardolly, other parts of which appear in Pom2 and Bay Area Poetics. Treadwell earned her MFA at SFSU in 1997, has worked as director of Small Press Traffic in San Francisco since 2000, and lives with her husband and daughter in her hometown of Oakland. Erin Brooks Worley earned her MFA from Syracuse University. Her fiction has appeared in the Indiana Review, The Gettysburg Review, and Ninth Letter. Currently, she lives in San Francisco, where she is completing a collection of linked short stories.
